Wedding Venue
For their two day celebrations, Chanchal and Varun chose two venues that fit their vision perfectly. For the wedding soiree, the duo zeroed in on Taj MG Road where they hosted a sit-down welcome dinner within the property’s spacious and opulent grounds to break the ice. Gushing about her experience at Taj MG Road, the bride shares, “We had so much fun at this impressive hotel. It served as the residential venue for both the days where we hosted the wedding soiree. Although our party was an intimate one with only 50 guests present, the hotel’s superior hospitality and dedicated staff was on their feet at all times and they gracefully catered to all our requests. We couldn’t be happier about our choice.”

For their big day, the couple chose the beautiful Shrunga Giri Sri Shanmukha Swamy Temple where they tied the knot in a traditional ceremony.

Wedding Planning
Acknowledging the importance of having a skilled wedding planner on their squad, Chanchal and Varun roped in Events and Wedding Experiences who clearly comprehended their vision from the start itself. Describing the brief he received from the couple Nikhil Jetha from Events and Wedding Experiences shares, “Both Chanchal and Varun are strong believers in sustainability and minimalism. Keeping this in mind, we ensured that all design and decor elements were in sync with their beliefs. For the wedding soiree, we used ribbon strips at the entry decor, and then for the wedding, floral cones were showered by the guests.”

Weddings Functions

Welcome Soiree
“Consisting of 50 guests, the welcome soiree was an intimate occasion filled with live music, heartfelt toasts, and peppy entertainment. With Mitin Upadhyay serving as the anchor, the function rolled out with interactive games such as ‘Find Your Name’ played by the guests to gain entry into the party while the couple played ‘Who does this’. Furthermore, welcoming dances were performed for both the families which efficiently broke the ice and put everyone in the mood to party. Additionally, to add to the festive spirit, a 45-minute drum circle was organized and then followed by emotional toasts which were made with non-alcoholic Japanese Breeze. On the decor front, everything was kept minimalistic with a canopy lit by fairy lights and a dance floor with #vachan in neon shining in the background.”, shares the bride.

Wedding
“Hosted in a temple situated on a hill overlooking the city, the wedding was a traditional affair emanating dreamy vibes. Conducted right in front of the Ganesha temple, our wedding was drenched in spirituality and tradition offering a sumptuous Bangalorean spread that the guests relished heartily. As for the decor, the venue was swathed in hues of pink and white and accentuated by traditional elements like local flowers and bells. Additionally, our wedding hashtag, #vachan was also engraved in all possible spots.”, shares Chanchal.
